Cold Thoughts

HOW TO AVOID WINTER COLDS WITH POSITIVE MIND POWER

All our problems begin in the invisible - a thought, emotion, belief, or attitude - and progress to the visible as our body’s way of drawing attention to issues that have not been dealt with. Your issues will get locked into your body at a specific place in relation to how you perceived the initial situation - and the common cold is no different.

Although modern medicine asserts that a common cold is spread purely by rhinovirus through airborne droplets or surface contact with the virus - not everyone who comes into contact with the virus will contract a cold. You may in fact be setting yourself up to be more susceptible to attack by this virus through negative energetic thoughts, emotions and beliefs.

One of the esoteric explanations for catching a cold lies in the survival response linked to our sense of smell, ‘smelling trouble’. Colds and flues often occur at the beginning of winter, when we ‘smell trouble’ anticipating winter conditions as a threat to survival, or have an attitude that, ‘this stinks’, for those who ‘hate winter’. It can also coincide with unexpected distress, or being overworked and needing a rest.

Add an energetic layer of protection to help your body stay cold and flue free this winter with positive thoughts, emotions and beliefs about the season and by managing stress.
